El Fenix: A HISTORICAL TEX-MEX LANDMARK
EL Fenix is a historical landmarks in the city of Dallas, Texas. This historical landmark is significant to the Mexican American community locally as well as nationally. It is historically significant by being the OLDEST Tex-Mex restaurant in the United States. Within this exhibit, it will discuss the hardships that the Mexican American community has gone through. This will help us understand the historical changes that the restaurant has witnessed as Texas has undergone through significant historical social changes.
